November 2008 Dear Friends, We hope that you are well! The year is speeding to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyal support during this past year. A big "Thank you" for your input, feedback and support regarding the development of the training material! TO THE TUTORIALS: We plan to send out a new CD in January. The following will be new on this CD: 1. Excel Level 1, 2 and 3 We've reworked the notes for the above to make the Excel Level 2 slightly shorter and to make the marketing of Excel Level 3 easier. We've removed one of the Unit Standards from Excel level 2 and added it to the Excel Level 3 course. The Excel courses will now look like this: Creative Minds® Excel 1 - Unit Standard 116937 Creative Minds® Excel 2 - Unit Standard 116940 Creative Minds® Excel 3 - Unit Standard 116943 2.The following courses has been reworked: · Internet Explorer 7 · Windows Vista Level 1 · Windows Level 2 · Outlook Level 1 3. New courses added: · OpenOffice.org Writer (Word processing) - Level 1 · OpenOffice.org Calc (Spreadsheets) - Level 1 CLOSING DATES FOR DECEMBER: Creative Minds® Head Office will close on Friday, 12 December 2008 and will re-open on Monday, 5 January 2009. Important: Alicia will be on holiday from Friday, 5 December 2008, please contact her during the first week of December should you need any certificate numbers for December. PASTEL RENEWAL PROCESS: Please accept your contract with Pastel and Register your new serial numbers. Your TC8 number is …. and customer Number is ……. If you or your Pastel rep are unsure of the process, please find attached a word document from Pastel detailing how you can complete this process.
